After that, I brought it into DaVinci Resolve to 1) replace the numerous moments where the video momentarily goes out of focus with the original out of focus video, as the upscaling process created some uncanny faces during those moments (see screenshots below), 2) normalize the audio levels (using the AI voice level tool as well as normalization upon export) and 3) transcribe the audio to make subtitles, which I then cleaned up in SubtitleEdit. The resulting prores file was then encoded with x265 10-bit to create a 478mb 1440p file.
